It’s hard to believe that 2020 is coming to a close so quickly. With the kind of year our world has had I am sure many are ready to flip the calendar to a new year and new hope for a healthier and more prosperous 2021. We are so grateful for our loyal guests and all the new guests to Thorp House Inn and Door County this past year.
People were so interested in getting outdoors and exploring new places in 2020, and Door County offered so many options for getaways. We are delighted that many of you chose us as your lodging choice. For some this may come as a bit of a surprise, yet 2020 will be the best revenue year in the history of Thorp House Inn! Thank you to all of our guests for making that happen and allowing us the honor of serving you. During 2020 we continued to improve the property and maintain the loveliness we have all come to know at Thorp House Inn.
We will be open throughout the holidays, so if you are looking for a getaway check out our availability calendar. Additionally, we are offering special winter pricing–lower weekday rates and new weekend pricing–from January through April 2021 (for new reservations). Winter can be a great time to get away during the quiet season–there is still so much to do in Door County. And we continue to offer safe accommodations with an increase in cleaning practices, social distancing, and other CDC recommendations.
Our summer season 2021 is now open online and available for reservations. Because many guests were concerned about traveling in 2020, they either changed existing reservations or created new reservations for the summer 2021 season. This means summer 2021 is already beginning to fill up. Our suggestion is to consider booking your summer getaway early in 2021.
Finally, if you love Thorp House Inn consider sharing it with someone else this holiday season!
Our gift certificates make a perfect gift for anyone in your life, including perhaps yourself! You can purchase online or by calling us at 920-868-2444. You may choose an electronic delivery or we will hand write one using our nostalgic certificates and mail it to you.
We sincerely hope you and your family stay safe this holiday season and throughout the winter, and we look forward to hosting you soon on your next visit to Thorp House Inn.
Cheers,
Matt Ranzau
