The Inn

For over 100 years, Thorp House Inn has welcomed visitors to the charming village of Fish Creek. The five unique guest rooms offer the authentic ambiance of a bygone era amidst the spectacular natural beauty of the Door County peninsula. Whirlpools and fireplaces are available, and the Inn is open year-round.

Amenities

Guest rooms have been carefully furnished in fine antiques and accessories, documentary wall coverings, authentic lighting and European lace to re-create romantic periods of the past. Inn guests are welcome to enjoy the fireplace parlor, two libraries, summer "sitting porch" and a pantry stocked with complimentary soft drinks, coffee, tea and cookies.

Some of the guest rooms offer gas fireplaces, whirlpools or a glimpse of the bay. All guest rooms are non-smoking. Each has individually controlled heat, central air conditioning and hi-speed wireless Internet. To preserve the tranquil atmosphere of each guest room, we have resisted the installation of televisions and telephones. However, the “Everil” room has a television with VCR. And a guest telephone is located in the reception area.

Breakfast
Included in your "Inn Room" stay is a delicious home-baked breakfast served in our turn-of-the-century kitchen. The house specialty is English scones accompanied by muffins, Door County preserves, fresh seasonal fruit, homemade granola, a selection of yogurts, hard-boiled eggs, juice, and coffee or tea. Breakfast is served from 8:00 – 10:00 A.M. There is early morning coffee available in the pantry.
